PAC Babies looking for Love & new Families!!
Phangan Animal Care – our beloved ( !! ) – has been nursing and baby sitting these gorgeous babies for a while now and got them so happy & healthy that they now are reading for new families!
PhaNgan Animal Care (PAC) is a non-profit organization based in Wok Tum, Koh PhaNgan
PAC is a small team of staff and volunteers who travel the island, providing nursing care to the stray and temple animals and giving emergency care to owned animals. They also carry out a successful spay and neuter program when volunteer vets come to visit, host rabies vaccination camps regularly around the island and have a hospital for patients that need more regular or long term care.
If you see an animal in need, either sick or injured please contact PAC on 089 875 7513 or email us at info@pacthailand.org with details of the animal - eg. location, colour/markings, male or female and problem.
As an organization they rely 100% on donations so please look out for the donations boxes in various resorts, bars, restaurants and shops around the island or drop by the centre with your donation and help to improve the lives of the animals you see around you.
PAC also relies heavily on volunteers.
If you are a vet or veterinary nurse and want to use your skills and knowledge to make a big difference to the animals here please get in touch. As PAC only has one permanent nurse who is kept very busy attending to all the sick stray animals on the island, your help would be greatly appreciated.
PAC is a hospital & not a shelter.
Unfortunately they cannot take in healthy animals for re-homing.
"Bambi" turned up at a resort in
Haad Rin around 3 months ago.
Nobody knows where she came from and no owner could be located.
She parked herself under the bungalow of one long term PAC supporter and has since refused to move.
However, the resorts along this particular stretch of beach are NOT dog friendly and rumour has it that as soon as the long termers leave, poison is to be put down for this innocent girl - her only crime is her existence.
She has already been sterilised by PAC and has received her rabies vaccination, she now just needs a forever home.
A more affectionate dog I am yet to meet, Bambi just wants to remain loyal and true to that one special person, in return for food, shelter and security.
Surely this is not too much to ask of somebody?
If you have space in your heart and home for Bambi please contact PAC !
Another kind of Babies are also seeking homes;
5 gorgeous grey tabby kittens have been born at The Sanctuary in Haad Tien, despite concerted efforts by both teams at PAC and the Sanctuary to keep the population down through sterlisiation.
All are now looking for their forever homes and each one comes with a "fun guarantee."
If you have space in your heart for one one of these, they are of course free to a good home. Collection can be arranged from PAC so either drop us an email – info@pacthailand.org or call us 089-875-7513”
