Songkran "In The House!" Special at MOOV BAR KOH TAO features Kaiser Souzai, Dan Buri Official & MOOV resident Tomi. This epic lineup of super talented House & Techno wizards will simply be the place to be in Koh Tao during Songkran, its sure to deliver a night of high energy, hands in the air, go mental moments that by the end will have you begging for one more tune!! The event showcases the best Kaiser Souzai's label Ballroom Music, Dan Buri's Neverest Records and their various collaborations as well as favourites from each other respective crates.

Making concrete waves throughout the Berlin underground and carving a reputation internationally with their live performances, popular event nights and taste-making record label, Berlin duo, Kaiser Souzai are an unstoppable force within the industry. What began as a music collaboration, has now become much more than that with the creation of their own musical genre of Art-rock Tech, drawing influence from 70's greats such as Pink Floyd, Genesis and Yes, yet still keeping to their roots of deep and progressive techno, electrifying dancefloors across the globe.
The duo put themselves on the electronic map initially with releases such as 'Girl', which became a huge summer tune in 2006 with it's Pulp Fiction samples, and their Cloud series, 'Altocummulus Floccus', 'Stratocumulus' and 'Cirrus'. Remixing for Booka Shade's 'Love Inc' on Blaufield Music and Dave Seaman's 'Everything Comes in Threes' on Tulipa Recordings, alongside signature releases on Kinetika Records, Trapez and Definitive Recordings to name only a few, not to mention support from the likes of Sven Väth, Joseph Capriati, DJ Steve Lawler and Rick Maia plus many more, the last few years has seen Kaiser Souzai build a unique brand representing and creating that art-rock niche which has had critical reception from all over. Always regularly featuring in the electronic top 10 of various portals, the duo has further solidified their name with the creation of Ballroom Records, a label which has grown from strength to strength with a taste-making roster that puts out some of techno's best new music alongside vibrant label nights that keep giving and giving.
And now, having worked their way up the Berlin club scene and emerged into international waters, Kaiser Souzai have introduced their live performances to the world. Each live show incorporates Kaiser Souzai's never-ending energy, showcasing their talents as musicians with live electronic percussions in front of an eagerly awaiting crowd. 2014 & 2015 saw them travel from Belgium to Australia, Thailand to Berlin, gigging at the likes of Womb (Tokyo), Uberhaus (Beirut), Forsage (Kiev), Sullivan Room (NYC) Koi (Singapore), Jungle Experience (Koh Phangan), Circus (Melbourne) and Rhythm & Alps (New Zealand), with the end of their New Zealand tour seeing them headline the Techno Stage alongside the legendary Carl Cox. As well as gracing the stages of Earth Festival in Australia, and the Nation Of Gondwana festival in Germany - they've shot through the Berlin circuit of Sysyphos, Tresor.Berlin (OFFICIAL), Wilde Renate, Kosmonaut, Golden Gate, CDV Oficial and Chalet Club "Official" to name a few, illustrating their raw passion of dark tech and loaded electronica along the way.
Kaiser Souzai grew from the dark depths of their studio, knocking out track after track until like a flicker of light, the world began to recognise what they were about. Taking the stage with their incredible live performances and productions, Kaiser Souzai are continuing to emblazone the world with their unique brand that nobody will forget.

A late night juggernaut responsible for the proliferation of techno in Bangkok, Dan Buri is like the city having its own Berlin resident DJ at its helm. His German upbringing reverberates in the brooding yet melodic soundscapes that he plays but his Thai roots lend him a more lighthearted approach to everything that he does. In fact, whether he’s playing deep and undulated techno or organic tech house, his legacy in the city is defined by his high-octane performances and an unparalleled ability to engage and connect with the crowd. Notorious for pushing boundaries into nonexistence, Dan has crafted a career out of fusing together his many worlds in seamless and syncopated harmony.
Career defining moments come from sharing stages with artists like Sven Väth, Dubfire, Joris Voorn, M.A.N.D.Y., Booka Shade and Azari & III, as well as playing some of the world’s most revered clubs like Tresor.Berlin (OFFICIAL), Sisyphos, Kyon - キョン. His current trajectory stations him in Europe for the summertime, regularly coasting through countries like Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France, while winters are spent in the warmer regions of Asia where he is bastion of its underground music culture. But regardless of where you find him, you will find his dance floor moving, bruising and sweating. Fired by passion and fueled by boundless energy, Dan exudes positive vibes and the mark he’s left on Bangkok’s underground music scene is both impactful and infectious.
Finding that his production prowess had gone to the next level after linking with Bla Bla Music founder Daniel Sanchez, Dan found inspiration in Bangkok’s relentless afterhours affairs and finally breathed life into his own imprint. Aptly named Neverest Records, Dan has been questing tirelessly to create a family amongst Asia’s DJs and producers and build for the region a platform for sharing and connecting, not just within Asia but also with the world – always spreading the after party ethos upon which Neverest was built.

TOMI was bitten by the DJ bug many years back in his native home of Finland and has ever since been honing and defining his sound to a unique curation of thick, bass heavy Techno, each track in his sometimes marathon sets seemlessly blends into the next to create a dark dreamy storm of electrnic music goodness that one can't help but be entranced by. He has held residence at MOOV BAR KOH TAO and open for some well respected Dj's & producers.
