💖WOW Fest - Women of the World Festival

✨4 days; 4 seasons; 1 cycle; 1 festival

✨an earth-centric journey honoring the power of the feminine as manifest in woman’s body, soul and all of nature.

✨An invitation to all women, to come and recharge, reconnect and reclaim more passion, purpose, and playfulness in your life and body.

💖 Our intention of this gathering is to build a worldwide community of sisters, and strengthen the community of women existing on Koh Phangan.

✨ to say YES to ourselves and each other as women, YES to our female bodies, and YES to the exquisite play of life that exists within us all.

✨ to give you a renewed devotion and honor to the feminine, both within yourself and all of existence.

💖 We will leave feeling empowered to create, heal, awaken and lead as women in our own unique ways in the world, inspired to share our soul dance and renewed passions and purpose back to our wider communities. Feeling our lost and broken parts loved and nourished.
Feeling met and seen and celebrated as the gifted mothers, sisters, lovers, healers, path finders and way forgers that we are.
Feeling relaxed into ourselves, each other and all of nature, grounding more of our being here in this earth dance.

💖 What to expect:

✨Our journey is based around a deep path of embodied feminine wisdom and natural cycles – cycles of the moon, tides, seasons, elements and of course a woman’s menstrual cycle and the cycle of life itself.

✨Each day of our gathering will represent one phase of a woman’s life cycle (maiden, mother, enchantress and crone), and there will be corresponding rituals, workshops, and celebrations to honor these different phases of womanhood, as they appear in our bodies and all of nature herself.

✨Expect a variety of offerings including red tent, womb wisdom circles, feminine embodiment and self care, shakti yoga, ecstatic dance, chi kung, jade egg, breathwork, ceremonies honoring the elements, singing circles, shamanic gatherings, women’s leadership circles, kid’s area, healing space, evening rituals with men, vendors, and more!

✨Keep an eye on our Facebook page to see more details of our schedule and meet our team of co-creatrix!

💖Who we are:

We are proud to present the shaktilicious organizers of this groundbreaking festival, a group of women who are resident on this island paradise and ripe with experience, inspiration and desire to co-create a unique experience that supports women in claiming their birthright to be naturally strong, sexy, intelligent, mystical community members and leaders.

We draw from a collective pot of wisdom spanning yogic, Taoist, shamanic and other lineages, and blend together teachings and lived experience to bring you an authentic offering of embodied transmissions and opportunities to rise together in a deeply held loving group process to discover and enrich our inner and outer connections.

💖HOW TO GET HERE:

Pyramid Yoga Centre, the breathtaking venue of our festival, is located on the small, beautiful tropical island of Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand, a sister island to Koh Samui. Nestled on the forested hillsides of the north side of the island between Had Yao and Chaloklum, this is most easily accessed from Tong Sala Town by car.

Getting to Koh Phangan

By Plane:
The most direct way to get Koh Phangan is to fly from Bangkok to Koh Samui Island with Bangkok Air. Thai Air also flies to Koh Samui so check out their offers too. Note that Bangkok Air has a very flexible ‘change your ticket’ policy and they have 20 flights a day to and from the islands.
Nok Air and various other airlines also fly from Bangkok to Surat Thani town, this is a cheaper flight but the connection via bus to ferry and ferry to island is longer.

By Boat:
Koh Phangan island is easily accessible by boat from several places in southern Thailand. Most boats arrive on Koh Phangan at one of two towns, Thong Sala or Haad Rin. Tong Sala is the nearest pier to our festival site. If your boat lands in Thong Sala, some resorts offer pick up from the pier, or you can be taken to your resort via taxi truck (between 100-300B defending on it’s location).

From the city of Surat Thani:
Many ferry companies offer boats directly to Koh Phangan, or via Koh Samui. The journey from Surat Thani/Donsak to Thong Sala takes around 2.5 hours. The boats lands at Thong Sala town on Koh Phangan and you can to get a taxi truck to your resort and the festival site.

Places to stay:

**ACCOMODATION IS NOT AVAILABLE ON SITE**

There are a wealth of choices to suit any taste and budget. Trip Advisor and booking.com can be really helpful here. By checking the location of the venue on the event page you can make your choices accordingly. This is peak season so we really advise you to book well in advance.

Returning Home:
For your departure, the ferries towards Koh Samui and Donsak begin leaving Tong Sala at 5am and run through the day. you will need to check that you can link the ferry and flight departure time, or if you need to spend an overnight in either Samui or Suratthani the night before.

Thai Visas
If you think you will want to spend more than 1 month in Thailand, we strongly recommend getting a tourist visa in your own country. Most travelers are issued a one month tourist visa upon arrival in Thailand at one of the country’s international airports, but do check this before if you are uncertain. If you cross the Thai border by road you will only be given a 15 day visa.
