Coming to Koh Phangan but wondering what to do apart from party? Well, there’s plenty to get involved with and slowly but surely people are spreading the word that this island is a beautiful fun place that has more than just the party scene. See how many of these you can get done…

Hike Up Khao Ra
Hike up to the highest point of Koh Phangan! It takes one to two hours and is worth the climb for the view.

Go Diving
In recent years Koh Phangan has become ever more popular for people to learn or improve their diving. There are now over 20 dive schools to choose from on the island and they can be found based all over including Baan Tai, Haad Rin, Haad Yao and Thong Nai Pan.

Hire a Motorbike and Explore The Island
Scooter rental is on average 250 Baht per day and the best way to explore the island. Just be sure that you are experienced, wear a helmet and don’t drive like an idiot, then you will have an incredible time doing this activity!

Eat loads at Pantip Market Thong Sala
The food market in the centre of Thong Sala (near all the main banks) is a must visit! With lots of food stalls ranging from Thai to international, you will eat till you’re stuffed with pleasure!

Get Wet at Slip N Fly
Get launched 10 meters into the air off one of the Two 40-meter extreme-water slides. Test your fears! Hurdle yourself high into the sky, and land with a SPLASH in the largest swimming pool the island has to offer. Open during full and half moon party weeks.

Take a yoga class
Koh Phangan is very well known these days for its Yoga Schools so find a class and try it for one time or broaden your existing knowledge here on this tropical paradise.

Snorkel At Mae Haad Beach
The beach that connects Koh Ma is great for snorkelling! Bring your own equipment or it can be rented from the resort office close by.

Explore The Ang Thong National Park
Koh Phangan is very close to a natural wonder, an amazing water world of 42 or so islands in the Central Gulf Coast! Take a boat trip there to see the beauty!

Enjoy The Sunset
Everyone loves a good sunset and Koh Phangan has its own special ‘sunset culture’. It is beautiful from anywhere but best on the West coast such as Zen Beach.

Eat Some high-class cuisine
As well as the traditional food markets, street vendors and Thai restaurants, Koh Phangan has in recent years become home to some excellent high-class restaurants so treat yourselves one night and enjoy.

Kayak Around The Island
There are many spots you can rent kayaks to see the island from the sea using your own power. Take a look from a different perspective.

See The Waterfalls
Waterfalls are a great way to connect to nature, you may spend a few hours there cooling off in the pools, trekking up the sides to see how far you can get and experience views and freshwater.

Trek to Bottle Beach
It takes about one hour, take lots of water and a bunch of friends to then end up on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, bottle beach.

Learn How To Cook Thai Food
Impress friends and family back home with delicious Thai cooking by learning to create it! Ask your hotel/hostel where you can learn, there are many teachers and cooking schools here.

Relax in a Herbal Sauna
Melt away the stress and detox out the party by taking a visit to one of the many saunas. You can choose from traditional at the temple to more upmarket here on the island.

Feast On Seafood
You’re by the sea so it's a given that you should eat some delicious seafood. We recommend Fishermans in Baan Tai, also keep your eyes open for local fishermen selling their goods for you to cook yourself.

Get a Massage
When in Thailand you have to get a massage! Koh Phangan also has amazing beaches so go try out a massage on the beach for the ultimate in relaxation, plus it is super affordable.

Meditate
Meditation has many benefits and with lots of peaceful surroundings and a plentiful supply of classes here it is the perfect place to start.

We could go on and on with the list but we will let you use your own mind to fill in the rest of your gaps for Koh Phangan, enjoy!
