Monday 23rd was th Waterfall Party at Sramanora resort ! It was amazing and I recommend you to go there at least once in your life, if you haven’t been there yet !
Basically, that is all to remember… But I‘m still going to tell you more about it. Sramanora means stone river in Thai. And I don’t need to explain what is a waterfall neither a party. Can you imagine now ?
When you arrive, after the dirt road, you walk a little and then have to cross a river on a small wooden bridge to finaly enter the magic world of the Waterfall Party.
The place is actually built on suspended stones, sourrounded by cliffs stone and a waterfall, located deep in the jungle of Baan Kai. The natural decor looks absolutly magic ! There are also many beautiful paintings wich gives many colors and energy to the place, and also even more character.
There is also a swimming pool and a few bars so you never really have to queue to get your glass.
The staff are really nice and helpfull ! The sound system is huge and really powerfull. It let's ourselves feel the music even more. From House music to Techno, the Waterfall was the first party on the island to bring a new style of music combining all types of electronic musics.
Originaly created by the famous DJ Peter G, it is now animated by the resident DJ Bank and other great DJs from the Thai or international scene.
The party starts at 9pm until the sun comes up. I really advise you to get there early to have the chance to see the performers playing with fire in many ways and lighting up the huge Waterfall sign, with the waterfall in the background. I also advise you to go there during the monsoon season to enjoy the waterfall at its best !
Lucky as you are the party takes place twice a month (few days before and after full moon parties) to give you the double of chances to go !
