Thank you for this interview, so tell us how you got started in your Dj life?
I started my DJ career in 1997 at the legendary Babalu club in Munich.
And what is your main style and why?
My style is from House to Tech House. Sometimes I play Techno too, but only at big festivals. I’m strictly ‘no commercial sound’!
You are coming to Bangkok to play at Ku De Ta for Thaibreak, tell us a bit about what we can expect?
An explosion like last year! It was one of my favorite gigs in 2015 and I can't wait to stay on the decks and rock the crowd!
And will you be playing anywhere else in Thailand/Asia?
Yes for sure. I will play four shows at Koh Mak for Thaibreak. The 12th of March I will play at Kolour in the Park Festival and the 25th of march at Glow in Bangkok.
Maybe I will also play at Lighthouse on Koh Phangan.
Ever been to Koh Phangan, what did you think?
Oh Koh Phangan was amazing, magic, wonderful and I had really unforgettable moments there.
What were the best gigs you did last year?
I think it was my twelve hour set for the Decadance Festival aftershow in Moscow, Russia.
I was supposed to play two hours and in the end I played twelve hours. Bääm….
And what will be your main projects for 2016?
I have a lot of projects for 2016 like Traumfänger Open Air in June, Berlin, Beats and Boats in July, Rave on Snow Festival in December and don’t forget my DJ gigs every weekend.
I will open with good friends a new club in Berlin and produce some Ep´s.
What inspires your music?
The love between me and the people on all dancefloors in the world. I love it and it´s really the best thing to rock the crowd and see them happy while I’m playing my sets.
And what would you say to djs hoping to play globally?
Don’t play EDM. This is not music.
What is your life philosophy?
Family, love, friends, music and never change a running system.
Peace Out !
