Welcome to Koh Phangan, so how do you like it so far?
The island sure has a special energy to it and the whole place is beautiful when you venture out sightseeing.
So what have you been up to before you came here?
So, Andy Baxter and I have been on a tour which will be five weeks in total, but from the start of our tour we left Ibiza, popped to London, to Hong Kong, Vietnam and to Australia where we played in Melbourne as well as Sydney.
What got you into djing?
I started DJíng after going to some old raves in the early 1990´s in the North of England which influenced me to save up and buy a pair of decks.
What have been some of your standout gigs of last year?
Well if you’re just talking strictly 2016, then our Melbourne gig at Pawn & co was superb as well as S.A.S.H at Home & Slyfox in Sydney which were pretty awesome also.
What do you think of the Ibizan party scene compared with Phangan?
I cannot compare yet as I have not experienced the full party scene here, but I will. I have heard some great things about Phangan, it has a spiritual essence in the air as well as a strange energy which is similar to Ibiza.
The Jungle is now programmed by one of my housemates in Ibiza Marco Loco so I hear quite a lot about the place, especially after Yousef’s great gig for five thousand people a couple of months ago.
I have been told not to hold back on my music anyway.
Did you enjoy playing Jungle Experience on the 13th of February, what did you think?
Yeah I loved it, the crowd loved the more pumping Techno sound, it was defiantly an experience.
It definitely has the potential to make special things there in the future for sure!!!
What would you say to aspiring djs?
