George Gannon was part of the Koh Phangan community and most will remember him and his girlfriend Natalie Grace with their business Kohnnect where they help islanders with their social media and websites.

George even started DJing at Waterfall Party under the name PAK and they have been doing crucial work for Phangan Animal Care and run campaigns for environmental conservation on the island with beach clean ups and teaching both locals and travellers about plastics.

In 2018 George was diagnosed with brain tumours whilst here...

George & Natalie won the battle! They did the unexpected! They had the courage and the strength to go against the doctors of the NHS and shrunk all of georges tumours on their own!!

The doctors were blown away. Told the couple it was their best day in their medical history and George would be cancer free for years!

The couple reduced the oils because of the extremely high cost and got their lifes back on track!

George & Natalie both went back to work and moved to their new home in Andover.

After a routine check up in December doctors discovered that more tumors had grown back. They pushed and suggest George should go for Radiotherapy.

They assured the couple that there was no extreme risks and it would be a 'walk in the park' for George. George & Natalie were in a stronger position than they were in Thailand. George was strong - eating well and working out. He was the healthiest he had been in years! They trusted the doctors and went for the treatment.

During the session it all went drastically wrong. It caused George to have a seizure resulting in a brain hemmorage. ( A Bleed to the brain )

George was then given 24-48 hours to live when he was transfered to Jacks Place Hospice. George was taken off all fluid and we were told to say our goodbyes...

Four days later, George woke up! Started cracking his knuckles and looked at Nat with his big blue eyes again!

She gave him some water and he chugged the whole lot down! Since then George has returned to his house in Andover.

Natalie is not unable to work. Due to her visa conditions she is also not eligible funding and caring allowance.

All donations will go to help Natalie & George's quality of life to give theem the support and equipment they need to help them on another long journey to George's reovery. The donations will also go to the alternative treatment! The THC & CBD come at a huge cost - it saved his life before and we are aiming for the stars again! We do not want to go down the pharmaceutical route.

There will be a fundraiser this Saturday at Tiki Beach, please go and support the island family!
