Naq tells us about the Jungle Tribe Tour!

Hey Naq where have you been?
I just came back from Koh Samui, I got two days of raining and surfing in the street with the motorbike, it was crazy water everywhere!

How was the promo shoot the other night?
It was very good, Normally this sort of thing would only take a short time and Sharon said come for 9pm, so I said 8pm to make the girls come early! The girls came on time but Oliver Twist Hair came late, seems like he needs to put more makeup on than the girls! Ha-ha!

We had a lot of fun, all the girls needed to get ready at first so Sharon got photo’s of the process, then he disappeared to the kitchen and made nice food for everyone.
After we made the shooting it was nearly 2am so we had some drinks and finished at 4am. Everyone had fun and it’s like a jungle style family, I posted a picture this morning and it has lots of likes and shares already!

What is this all about then?
I got a booking in Surat Thani at BannrDon and the manager, who is a friend of mine, asked me if I could bring some artists like dancers and performers for a different kind of show.
So of course I thought of the Jungle Experience crew, I asked some of them and they said yes straight away, so we perform this Saturday in Surat Thani.

What are the plans to do with this in the future?
Hopefully we can do this in different cities, Phuket or Bangkok, anywhere we can go!
The Jungle Experience tribe is a good way to promote Jungle. It is good for people to see different performers with different costumes and Jungle has many very special artists. We are open minded, cool and everyone dances all the time!

What venue are you playing and what’s it like?
BannrDon in Surat Thani which is more for thai people, so that’s why we have been invited to change and widen it up a bit. We will bring the music from Koh Phangan as Phangan is open and has a very big music scene.

Are you looking forward to Jungle on the 24th?
Yeah for sure, definitely! I will be running around everywhere again!

I love Jungle Experience and I work there even when I’m not dj’ing as it’s my full time job.
It’s always exciting to see my friends djing, Marco Loco, Kuma and Rory Gallagher are playing and I will be with Rory in the studio soon. Also Lin, who is a very cool dancer is coming back and we have a new light show from Andrew. There will probably be some new performer, there is always something new!

What do you think of Phanganist?
Ah Phanganist bleurgh!! Haha, I have known Phanganist for a long time, now you have more people working here, the crew is bigger and very friendly!
Phanganist is very good for promotion in Phangan as it has not only the events but many other things. It is very good for tourists and the way we promote around the parties, giving out business cards so that afterwards they come on the website.
Phanganist is like the crazy team with the boss monkey!
