Orion Healing Center will host the public launch of long-tine island resident Brian Gruber's fifth book, "Full Moon over Koh Phangan: What Adventurers, Dancers, and Freaks Seek and Find on Thailand's Magic Island."
This first-ever full-length nonfiction book on Phangan's characters, communities, and magnetic appeal is an oral history, with stories gathered from 25 diverse perspectives.
The event is hosted by Orion's Daliah and Ari Barkan and will include readings and discussions of the book's interviews. Dress is Stylish Beach Casual.
This first edition will be an ebook. Later this year an expanded edition will be published in print and ebook formats, with stories from Phangan's neighborhoods, temples, beaches, waterfalls, and iconic landmarks.
