Roger came to (and heard about) Koh Phangan because it hosts the internationally famous
Full Moon Party and he wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
After meeting the sisters and Ulrich, and having the time of his life, he extended his visit for another whole week! With absolute certainty in his thoughts, he told us:
"Koh Phangan is so beautiful it could absolutely be my second home. The island is so peaceful and the locals so nice. I'm so anxious for my next trip and to keep creating with the sisters. I am always inspired by art, artist life, nature and so on, the sisters and Koh Phangan embody all of those things so it was easy to connect with and be inspired by them and their ability to create such unique masterpieces; and to be able to share the mindset with a sibling which is so mind blowing."
Rogers story begins like so: He was aimlessly walking the beach of the
Full Moon Party and wandered up the mountain ending up at the well-known Mellow Mountain Bar, where he ran right into the girls .
When he met the sisters at Mellow Mountain Bar they connected instantly and the whole experience happened really organically as if it was meant to be.
The first contact and transfer of data began on January 4 at
Full Moon Party, and after good vibrations and energy exchange we did a second transfer in the
Jungle Experience venue! It was insane. Both the party and the Jungle were brand new experiences for me, and I soaked up every ounce of it. I can't wait to get back to my alien friends and the beautiful island.
Life has been such an open eye project since my return, it has to be a result of the data transfer right?...
Did the alien transformation have any effect on your natural human behavior?
I still felt like myself , but super full of energy and dancing to different music, and i loved every minute of it. The craziest part was, after I started my first transfer process, all the people I previously met on the island slowly started appearing where we were, in the same area that attracted me to the sisters.
Did your new alien super powers make you feel differently than you normally would have without them? What effects did they have on those around you as you were walking through the crowd?
Yes, I felt great after all the looks settled in. It was really awesome because people automatically gravitate to you because of the energy you exude. It's a feeling like no other. You have the power to influence others and how they feel at that moment. It hits you out of nowhere, there are 30,000 people there and you're the life of the party! Everyone wants to take a picture or talk to you or just rock out for a min and be cool by that!
What were the human’s reactions to your new alien appearance? Did you inspire anyone?
Traveling on the island mid transformation was so funny because the locals all saw how cool we looked then wanted to know where we were partying so they could party with us! The ride home in the morning was a bit more entertaining because kids are going to school, people are going to work and here comes Uli and I on our scooters in full body paint, needless to say, we got all the looks that morning! Most people back home in the US didn't know what was going on, or thought I was on all kind of crazy drugs, or that it was a picture with lots of photoshop, after I gave an extensive explanation, they kind of got it, and thought, "that's really cool!".
Was your experience memorable or special in any way? How so?
It was such an unforgettable experience. The painting process was cool because the connection had already been established. The sisters welcomed us with the best hospitality. It was nice getting to taste all the island favorites throughout the transformation process. After hours of painting we head to the jungle to paint a bit more and the fun goes on from there. The combination of the sisters art and Ulrich Tausends Light painting photography skills came together to create pure magic! Like nothing I have ever done!
Would you be willing to have them transform you into an alien again? Has the experience inspired you in any way? How so?
Yes Please! I look forward to coming back to the island and getting transformed a few more times. I have alien friends now, so I plan to keep the relationship fresh. The artistic mind and creativity of the alien sisters as well as the vibe of the island constantly inspire me especially going into a new year. I am reminded to just do stuff, as crazy as it may sound, as bazaar as it may be, embrace new things and you will grow, learn, and evolve more than you ever thought possible.
