★★★ Luigi Rocca ★★★ (303Lovers)
Playing his trade with his own productions Luigi has frequently found his music charting high within download sales and frequently being snapped up by esteemed labels from Tiger Records and Definitive Recordings to 1605 and Ministry of Sound.
In 2010 and 2011 his releases have graced the Top 10 of various genre charts on Beatport – both his singles ‘Voodoo’ and ‘Ezili Can't Speak’ held strong the number 1 spot in Beatport’s Top 10 minimal chart upon their releases, whilst in the Beatport tech house chart tracks ‘Just Believe’, ’NDKj – Funkest Star (Marshall Remix)’, ‘Turin Quality Clubbing’, ‘Wally Lopez & Ismael Rivas – Is Deeper (Marshall Remix)’, ‘Black Conga’ all charted in the Top 10. Whilst his tech house rumbler ‘Swahili Song’ peaked at #1. His follow-up release ‘Liftered’ not only claimed the #1 spot but also went on to be nominated by Beatport as “One of the best tracks of 2010”.
Luigi Rocca also reached the tops in 2012 with the big room banger Tam Tam [1605] that he did in collaboration with Manuel De La Mare. Followed more blowing up originals in collaboration with Pleasurekraft, John Acquaviva, Manuel De la Mare and Hugo. Not to forget his unforgettable house remix of the classic Keep on Jumpin that has been released on Joe Negro's label Z Records and stayed weeks on number one overall chart. After two months on #2 techno chart his track Krakra Hurricane (in collaboration with a rising producer Dj Lion) becomes a total dancefloor banger. Luigi also compiled two compilations: Love Is In The Air and Tales Of A Lost Lover. Luigi and Manuel De La Mare produced another tech house single called "Opa Locka" (released on Mark Knight's Label Toolroom Records.
In the past 18 months alone his releases have graced the Top 10 of various genre charts on Beatport – his single ‘Gipsy Sun & Rainbows’ held strong the number 5 spot in Beatport’s Top 10 deep house chart upon its release, whilst in the Beatport tech house chart tracks ‘1001 Nights’, ’Mom's Favorite’, ‘I Use To Dance In The Rain’ all charted in the Top 10 together with his remix for Moby's latest single ‘Perfect Life. Luigi also compiled one of the Toolroom Knights compilations together with Manuel De La Mare and Alex Kenji, and had the tech house track ‘Opa Locka’ the toolroom bestseller of 2012! To say that Jason lives and breathes music would be a definite understatement; over 16 years of experience DJing in some of the finest clubs across Europe, the development of his own club nights and promotions and an extensive production discography, are all testaments to his talents and dedication. As a DJ, Jason effortlessly rocks the dancefloor through a unique combination of impeccable track selection and tight mixing, delivered with unbridled passion and energy. He's been a regular featured guest on the likes of Roger Sanchez, Umek and The Shapeshifters’ Radio Shows & playing a combination of chunky, driving, energetic House & Tech House, Jason has dj’d all over the world including Holland, Serbia, Russia, Dubai, Miami (USA), Poland, etc. He’s toured Australia and Thailand successfully over the last couple of years and he was back in Asia for his fifth tour over there February/March 2017. With a host of further productions and remixes dropping on a range of respected labels, Jason is an artist that will most definitely be set for big things for the rest of 2017 & beyond.
