PLENTY!!, in conjunction with Primitive Synthesis and Moontone Records present. Subsequently. We welcome English drone/experimental artist James Welburn to Bangkok as it will be his first time performing here. This show will be supported by local artists F- and Knavish Boris Tricks (NZ) plus the man PLENTY!! himself.

James Welburn
James Welburn started out playing bass guitar in avant-rock bands in London in the early 90’s, and later studied sound art before working in the film sound design industry.
This was followed by 10 years submerged in the latest software developments in Berlin whilst escaping into the cities rich experimental scene at night. Since then Welburn combines and modifies deconstructed electric bass guitar sounds with abstract software processing. Sometimes performing solo live sets featuring realtime sculpted noisy drones, diminished tones and clangs all warped into a gritty sonic landscape. His ability to manipulate and compose spontaneously in real time makes for a mind bending immersive experience.
In addition Welburn has collaborated with Tony Buck of The Necks (who also appears on James´s debut album "Hold"), Tomas Järmyr of Motorpsycho/Zu, Alexander Rishaug, Svarte Greiner, Magda Mayas Brendan Dougherty and Carsten Aniksdal.
Since relocating to Norway, Welburn became the founder and curator of Lillehammer Experimental; a concert series aimed at showcasing and discussing experimental music.

Knavish Tricks
Knavish Tricks - New to the Bangkok scene and hailing from New Zealand, Knavish Tricks is the one-man double necked Ukulele-Bass guitar and glitchy-micro-beat project of Andrew Marshall. Knavish Tricks layers experimental sonic journeys from delicate acoustic ambience, though Kraut-rock/Psych-bliss all the way to abstracted noise textures. Time-melting retro visuals play while navigating these bleep-bloop littered improvised loop terrains to create an immersive experience.

F-
F- is an experimental act founded since 2006. He has joined several one-off supergroups such as _____ and Acidmoon before starting his solo performances in 2016. With his extended musical preferences, he incorporates them into his studio albums and live shows. Later becoming more conceptual, he has decided to dig deeper by using a wide range of experiments to create a unique sonic synthesis plus more electroacoustic approach.

PLENTY!! is an other head of Iggo Frost's funky hydra of expressions. Electric pulses glitches and noise is the main ingredients. Earlier appearances by Iggo has been in IGGO FOGGI, Gurus, To Stupid to Die, Concrete Helmets, Gary Cooper Combo, Chesty Morgan Orchestra and Kitchen and the Plastic Spoons.
