A collaboration between longtime friends Nutty Nut (Sivagorn Muttamara) and Chip7 (Computer Chip7). "Bangkok Alien" is an art exhibition, live performance, and video shoot. DJ TO-RU (Japan) (Toru Yoshizawa) will be in the house as we will film footage for the mv. He contributed scratching for the beat produced by Task1 (USA). Special guests DJ Murf (S.Korea), and Corpus Koa. Saturday, September 30th at Jam Cafe Bangkok. Free refreshments from 6 to 8.Come early...We will start filming as soon as the doors open. Enjoy the Halloween theme a month early.
The exhibition will run for 2 days 30 September - 1 October.
CHIP7
Is an American painter living in Bangkok. Starting in graffiti in 1994 while living in New Jersey. He has been published in art magazine Juxtapoz, and was referred to as a ''future star'' in the book ''History of American Graffiti" from Abrams publishing. CHIP7 often uses chroma-depth 3d glasses technology to increase the interactive experience of the onlooker. Shifting his time to a stronger focus on studio work, his mixed media paintings have been exhibited and collected across many American cities such as LA, NY, and Seattle as well as abroad in Hong Kong, China, and Antwerp, Belgium. His work has been featured in the books 'Freight Train Graffiti' [Abrams], and 'Broken Windows, New York Graffiti' [Gingko]. Plus was part of 'Primary Flight' the large scale outdoor mural series for Art Basel in Miami, and has painted live for Toyota/Scion in Philadelphia. He has also produced work for international brands including Nike, Smirnoff, Isuzu, Marriot Hotels, Aloft Hotels and Red Bull. Recently he painted a mural for 911byJT Complex, was the art director for the 'Make It Happen' music video by DaBoyWay and YaYa. He is currently working on his mixed media project Lemur Land. The second part of Lemur Land is 'Days of Thunder' featuring Corpus.
