Cafe Del Mocca is a small restaurant located in the north part of the island at the middle of Chaloklum bay. The owner Jenny is an amazing Italian guy married to a beautiful Thai lady that open this place 5-6 years ago.
It all starts as my friend told me “you have been in Koa Phangan for 1 year and ate at so many restaurants, why don't you write about it ?
So now I have some time and many dreams about this wonderful island so here we go .
I’ll start with the best one, maybe later I'll have to rethink about it but as many times typical in Phangan I go with the heart .

Food: they serve here basic Italian dished – meaning pasta and pizza, that's it.
The home made pasta is amazing, nothing fancy local flower and some imported Italian ingredients, everything is fresh and one time when we ate there and he run out of fettuccini we saw the whole process in front of our eyes, you take the flower mix it with eggs make it a clean nice dough than thick and cut – Boom – how more fresh can it be?
As always I say the ali oli souce is the best test, basic and tasty – in Jenny's case the outcome is perfect. The truth is all the other pasta dishes are very good as well. I liked the Ragu with the Tortellini.
Not every day Jenny serves pasta, Thursday and Saturday are pizza night and you can choose from the delicious Veggie Cannelloni or the Gu Lasanya (both are more than decent).
.The pizza is the best one I ate in Phangan, thin and crispy with all classic topping
I guess people may ask themselves how come the best restaurant and such a regular food review? Well it is very easy, you add to the great food the amazing hospitality brilliant location on the beach and everything comes with Italian accent it makes it a perfect dinner.
