Urban Meets Paradise

It's been a while since I have last documented my Antics and it's fair to say it's been a busy few weeks! 
I celebrated my 31st birthday in absolute style with the ever lovely Christopher Thomas and friends. We spent the day in Thong Nai Pan, firstly having breakfast at the Buri Rasa where they embaressed me with a cake. Then we went and sat and swam and genrally messed about like teenagers in the sea (as we usually do).
One of our (Chris's mainly) favourite things to do is to dig around in the sand beneath you to see what you find, he found a starfish once! But watch out for the crabs!
We spent the evening with close friends at The Magic Wave having some drinks and larking about before sneaking off at about 10pm, lightweights! 
I just can't do these full on parties anymore! Well not like I used to. But you have to respect your mind and body and go home when it tells you.

Recently I had a really good time at Jeff's Mondays at Charm Beach. And since then the Charm Beach gang have been into the office, they are very nice so I hope to see them very soon. After this I went to Loi Lay for a bit of a dance as I had not been there since it's re opening.

I managed to have one day off from Phanganist this week, and I felt ill but still made it to the beach with the dogs! This was awesome, we have only just discovered this path from the house right down onto the beach. Any how after just ONE day, Sharon had managed to book I swear nearly the whole of the inhabitants of Phangan in for interviews for my first day back!
Okay so this is a bit of an embellishment but it felt like that at the time, so rather than feeling 'refreshed', it's just back to the same 'talking, smiling, talking, then breath routine here at the office. Although it is always fun! I have met some really great people in my just nearly two months here, hopefully some which I can call friends.

On a different note, the street art thing is proceeding nicely...

Actually, Rob Mcmanus who thankfully is back home on the mend after his accident saw one of these posters on my desk at Phanganist and liked it and said he wanted to colour it in! So I gave it to him to work on. This got me thinking....(Yeah I know, CrAzY!? huh!).
I want people to colour them in! Then maybe I can use my 'street' skills to spread this communal art around the island?

So there are a few of these posters at the Phanganist office.

So, that's it for me for now. Back to articles whilst Sharon swans off with the elephants (he took his family to see the elephants earlier), it's going to be a long day as I am painting some of the Blue Dream logo's on their new bigger bar for them tonight after sunset but hey I love painting and it's a cool place to do jobs is Blue Dream.
