No Plastic Bags Day at 7/11 and Big C

Here on Koh Phangan we care about protecting the nature of the island and the oceans around it. We were pleased to learn here at Phanganist that Big C and Seven Eleven are having a NO PLASTIC BAGS day! 

AND apparently this happens once a month! So, although we want you NEVER to have to use plastic bags, we wanted you to know that this is happening on the 15th of November, and the 15th of every month!!

The next step is to stop plastic bags all together!
