Between May 22 to July 20, Myanmar employees stuck in Thailand will be able to travel between Bangkok to Tak Province to encourage their transfer to their motherland across the border at Tak.
The agreement was concluded after a briefing with the Deputy Permanent Foreign Secretary and officials of the Myanmar Embassy and other related departments was arranged by the Transport Company.
The busses would depart the Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak) at 10 pm and 11 pm to the Mae Sot Bus Terminal in Tak.
The buses can hold just 210 passengers a day and the returning passengers will be those who have told the embassy before their decision to return to Myanmar. The embassy will give travel certificates to the returning passengers, which they would have to submit to the bus terminal, whilst the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters will grant a permit for travel in curfew time.
