In the early days of dance clubs, faceless DJs played music on 2 turntables and vinyl to crowds who appreciated good music and wanted to dance. Nite Ride aims to return to those times, when the DJ took a backseat to the music. On Saturday, July 30, resident DJs Boogie G, Gramaphone Children & Lows will spin modern funk, boogie, disco & electro funk at Studio Lam for those who want to experience a classic dance party vibe. This month's edition will also feature special guest Seelie (One Records, Illusion Recordings). Come take a ride!

Seelie Bio:
An insatiable record collector and resident for the renowned warehouse parties of Play It Down in Manchester. Seelie has been carving away a solid reputation as one of the best resident DJs in the UK with his distinctive house sound.
Possessing a deep interest in soul, funk, disco and house music from across the last three decades, Seelie is an amazingly skilled and technical DJ, who manages to blend his record collection effortlessly, with a purpose, always creating the perfect vibe for the given moment.
His own production's caught the eye of ONE Records very early, who signed the deep house gem ‘Soulocation’ for his first solo release. Seelie has gone on to produce various remix's for the likes of west coast house legend Dj Ali and released a debut Ep on Illusion Recordings.
Having DJ’ed with house masters such as Chez Damier, Derrick Carter, Move D & Prosumer, his inspired production and DJ sets have caught the ears of some of the best house labels and parties around, performing across Europe at the likes of Barcelona's off Sonar Festival, Below Birmingham, Sankeys and across Ibiza.
