Nidra or yogic sleep acts on the subconscious part of the brain. It's a technique that induces deep body-mind relaxation.
This technique enables you to remain aware while you enter into a dream and sleeping state of consciousness, thus allowing thought patterns, emotions, sensations, and images to arise and continue.
This method gives our scattered mind a rest and our body under tension, the opportunity to unwind as the guided meditation progresses.
