Free Bird Cafe is an organic vegetarian and vegan charity cafe established for a love of healthy, whole, local homemade food, coffee and smoothies and to support the work of Thai Freedom House; a language and arts community learning center for Indigenous Peoples and Burmese refugees. 100% of the profits from the cafe go to Thai Freedom House.
We also have a charity shop; Pre-Loved Charity Shop inside the cafe that has tons of funky finds; clothes, jeans, purses, jewelry, books, herbal spa products (Arun Thai) and much, much more! You may drop off donations for our clothing distribution project to Burmese Refugees anytime as well.
The cafe serves a vast and delicious breakfast/brunch Western style with pancakes and french toast all day and a lunch menu of Thai, Shan, Burmese and International food.
Come and have a seat along the North side of the moat to people watch or sit back, enjoy your meal and browse books about Burma and local culture while enjoying our unique menu.
We are open Tu-Sa 9am-5pm
We are also available for private evening bookings or buffet lunch and dinners.
