A Date with Durian on Koh Phangan

We are joined by Richard and Lindsey from Year of the Durian. Lindsey set up the blog to follow the durian for a whole year around Asia and 9 years later she is continuing to help others tour this incredible fruit and educate about durian.

They are now on Koh Phangan here in Thailand and brought durian from a local farm to try, we discuss all the unique flavours, dependant on the culture and country, and this fascinating following of the beloved durian fruit.

Since 2012, Lindsey has used durian as her excuse to visit exotic places off the beaten path, as a conversation starter, and as a way to connect with and understand the communities and ecosystems where her favourite fruit grows.
