Number Five - Tour Around the Island
Koh Phangan is so much more than a party island, it is a beautiful place in itself! Once you take a tour around the island you will understand. Pretty much everyone is always shocked at how much of a wonderful island it is!
The tranquil beaches that you may not know exist here, some awe inspiring viewpoints, waterfalls and experiences with loved ones and friends that will be unforgettable.
In the Northeast part of the island, although a bit of a drive away (compared to other parts) you really can escape the crowds and indulge in some real paradise beach vibes and breathtaking views.
In terms of getting around to see these awesome things there are a few options for this, you can rent a bike if you are a confident driver or even rent a car for you and your friends.
If you don’t want to drive or can’t then you can arrange a minibus and driver to take you around the island to see and experience some great things. Many companies arrange tours for you to give you a full day of sightseeing to some of the best places or you can ask your hostel or resort where you stay.
Make sure to actually check out and appreciate the island itself rather than just drinking and partying...you won’t regret it!
