Thailand will be dropped from the UK quarantine list starting this Saturday, which means that travelers from Thailand to England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland do not need to be quarantined upon arrival.
Singapore and Thailand have been added to the list of "travel corridor" countries according to the BBC report today (Friday).
According to the UK Department of Transport, two more countries, Slovenia and Guadeloupe, have been added to the UK quarantine list, due to a significant change in both the level and pace of confirmed coronavirus cases.
However, the decision to remove quarantine restrictions on arrivals from Thailand and Singapore is unlikely to result in a surge in people from the UK visiting Thailand as both countries allow people to enter under a limited set of circumstances, such as having a work permit or being a resident's spouse or child.
