JAM CINÉ CLUB ('Let the Fire Burn', The Past)

2 May 20:00

Jam - Bangkok

Every Wednesday night at JAM is CINÉ CLUB.

Our host for April & May 2018 is the original Jam Cine Club curator, the one and only Nathan Johnson. Each film over the next 2 months will be examining 'The Past' in a different manner.

Wed, 2 May - Let the Fire Burn (Jason Osder, 2013)
Wed, 9 May - Close-Up (Abbas Kiarostami, 1990)
Wed, 16 May - The Passion of Joan of Arc (Carl Theodor Dreyer, 1928)
Wed, 23 May - Wild Strawberries (Ingmar Bergman, 1957)
Wed, 30 May - Cinema Paradiso (Giuseppe Tornatore, 1988)

The screening will start at 8 pm.

Let the Fire Burn takes archival footage of a tragic event that's not in the public conscience and tries to offer an objective stance on the events that let up to it so you make your own judgment.
