Every Wednesday night at JAM is CINÉ CLUB.

Guest host for August is Brian Blanchfield.

Our theme for August is Irish Gems 'an eclectic mix of Irish cinema'.

BRIAN BLANCHFIELD
Never one to be tied down, 31 year old Brian Blanchfield is a self confessed jack of all trades and master of none. Former farmer, hotel barman, professional journalist, professional poker player, blogger, real estate agent, university teacher and podcast host ( http://www.thisthailife.com/ ). He's also been known to perform poetry, to follow his beloved Thai Port football team all over the country and cook lasagne.
Although a long term resident of Thailand he has never forgotten his roots on a windswept Westerly European rock, called Ireland. This month he will present us with a selection of cinematic gems from The Emerald Isle. A country that has brought us Wilde, Beckett and Joyce knows a thing or two about the dark, the quirky, and the comedic, all of which feature heavily in this month's choice selection. You'd be an eejit to miss it.
