Phangan Animal Care for Strays is the only clinic for animals with no owner on the island. This small facility takes in an average of 55 sick and injured patients per month and nurses them back to health before releasing or rehoming. In addition to nursing care, PACS primary missions are sterilisation and vaccination. It costs around 120,000 baht per month to run despite most work being carried out by volunteers. PACS relies 100% on donations from animal lovers.
