During her last visit in Baan Sabaii, she was close to get a Red Card for inappropriate behavior, and now Gali returns for a second visit and this time for a birthday party.
It's midnight at Baan Sabaii.
The evening party started at sunset and ends at 2am.
Next to the bar I meet Andrea.
Big smile spread on his face, which is his common vibe, but tonight this smile seems to be much wider and spread all over his face.

It's his birthday today.
Andre is a real Phanganist.
When I tag someone as a real Phanganist it means that he is visiting koh Phangan every year continuously, he knows the island very well, all the beaches, all the wonders, the restaurants, dance at parties days and nights, postpones his return date at least once in every visit and familiar with the island deepest secrets.
There are more than a few that can be considered as Phanganists.
Moving with the sun.
When the cold winter approaching their countries the travel to here for few months and when the sun shines again in their home land to return home as well.

And what is the best birthday present for real Phanganist? It's quite clear.
A Passport that the passenger who carries it has an eternal visa, permit him to stay in Koh Phangan for as much as he desires.
A dream comes true for every traveler who wishes to come and live in Koh Phangan.
Being honest, I am not sure I would challenge the authorities at the border with this certificate, but still this present gets the highest grade for the funniest, original and sweet present for this year present contest.
Not that there is such a contest really happens, but who cares?
