Living in THE NOW.
Living in THE NOW equals living
The total freedom of just existing, simply being, on a beautiful small tropical island sounds like a dream come true.
It goes hand in hand with endless opportunities, no hold backs from society, not being governed by your agenda and no restrictions from altered expectations .
To be you, and fully blossom in "just being you".
It is called living in the now; plans without planning and possibility to live by the rules of spontaneity .
To create an atmosphere where you drop the heaviness of your dark experiences and float on the lightness of new ones; to shine...
As the past slowly fizzles into a haze of memories and the future blends with the present, you could say that you've reached the total state of freedom.
Past the fruitless worrying about what's done and what shall be, lays a beautiful moment, called Now.
And it can be filled with love and happiness if you want to, because you're in control.
And it's whilst I slowly scratch the sand in my unwashed hair with my long and uncut nails, I start to wonder about such an endless amount of freedom...
Reachable for anyone who can grasp it, is it also suitable for anyone who has it?
Does it guarantee bliss and blossoming, or can it also result in lethargic laziness? If you can't rush Koh Pha Ngan, can you even get anything done?
If I am already too lazy to accomplish such a minor task as cutting my nails, I wonder how I could ever manage to... after a few months.
Or maybe we shouldn't look at laziness with it's negative connotations, created by Western society, but see it for what it really is.
One of the most preferable states of mind a human being can be in.
One of total relaxation and a care free existence. And can over exposure to freedom lead to losing one's mind and manners?
Does losing your mind just result in finding your heart...?
And shouldn't you lose yourself at least for a bit, before you are able to loosen up?
Can sharing and caring really exist here or is it just a euphemism for taking and faking?
Do people really change here, or are their actions just products of the Koh Pha Ngan environment?
Questions that cannot be answered without more exposure, more living the living while observing.
And so I shall. And what better place to do that, than on a beautiful tropical island filled with undiscovered magic.
