2005 was the year that GLOW NIGHTCLUB apeared on the Bangkok nightclub scene. It is a haven for underground house and techno music. It is occupies a two floor building and located on Sukhumvit Soi 23. The well-known promoters TRUST and RETOX SESSIONS usually organize their special events at Glow Nightclub. World famous DJs such as Nakadia, Steve Rachmad, Makoto, Gel Abril, Pan-Pot, Alex Niggemann, George Morel, Seth Troxler, Wolf+Lamb, Nyta, Laura Jones, Manuel De La Mare, Jay Lumen and many more have been guests at the venue.
Glow Nightclub has a specific day for each genre of music that they promote through special events. For example: Phatfunk (Drum & Bass), Underground Circus (House & Techno), High Tech Soul (Detroit House & Techno) and many others. This is a place where the dancefloor is always alive and true music lovers should go for this vibrant, minature club with a state of the art sound system.
While Bangkok is known as an international’s party capital with high-class events, nightclubs and parties, Glow offers the best music and sound, not just another glamourous place.
It is easy to recognise Glow at night by its neon-green light. They usually charge for entry and the price depends on the DJ but is usually around 300 baht and includes a free drink.
If you want to just relax and sit down you will find cushioned seating, however you will soon find yourself grooving to the music and on the dancefloor. The upstairs features a balcony overlooking the venue which is decorated by coulourful neon lights alog with dim lights for ambience.
Every week Glow Nightclub has international guest DJs playing alongside the residents. While the music genres vary the overal underground feel is preserved. This is a place where you can lose yourself on a dancefloor and take in the clubs magnificent atmosphere.
